Ready for a little game? What if you had all the money you could dream of? What would you be doing differently in your life? What would you spend that money on? A wonderful exercise to do is to make a list of all the things you would do.
There are two ways to play with on this one.
First of all, if you plan your finances well (would you like a link to a program that will help with that?), you can do anything you want. Not everything you want but pretty much what ever goals you have, you can save for the top most important or fulfilling money goals.
Also, if you play this out, you may notice that there's a pattern of a kind of experience you want in life. You might find a pattern that leads you on a creative path. Many people find that they are interested in leaving a positive mark in the world with some kind of service.
As you look at each item on your list, ask yourself what the experience is that you're looking for. Then ask yourself, "How can I achieve that experience in my life right now?"
As a young woman I had an experience of giving that changed my life. I didn't have a lot but I had more than a young couple I met and I was able to give to them in a way that was sweet and surprising to them and at the same time, something that I could afford. It changed the way I looked at giving.
You don't have to wait "until" you have enough time, money, energy or what ever. You can start right now, right from where you are. The idea here is to fine tune what would mean the most to you and then go for it.
It doesn't happen all at once. But one step at a time and you'll be living the life of your dreams.
So what's one small step you can take right now?

The walnut tree in my back yard lost the last of its leaves for winter. We're past the fall now and full on into the winter. And the walnut tree just looks stagnant, like it's just taking a break from producing anything. Only on closer examination, you can se the tips of the trees are ready to burst open at the first sign of spring!
Just because you may feel like not much is happening in your life, doesn't mean that things are stagnant. Energy moves in waves and cycles. Sometimes you just need to lay low. When the next wave of energy rises within you, trust that you can catch that wave for some new movement. Visualize what you want for yourself in your life. See it clearly and trust that the opportunity will arise for you to step into what you envision. Be ready to take action in the right time! It doesn't all happen at once and it doesn't happen on demand either.
Hang in there. You are precious and good just exactly where you are right now.

My son got a little book that had inspiring quotes. The bottom of the page was for tearing off and giving away, and then the rest of the page stayed in the book for the reader. Over time the tear-offs were distributed around. I just came across one that I'd like to share with you now:
Don't worry too much about
making an impression.
Work more on making a difference.
I'm not sure who said it first, so I'm sorry I can't give an attribution.
The thing is, if you let yourself be inspired by making a difference in your world, the energy you invest will lift you up. Those people who are so in the limelight and are only concerned with the way others see them will not be as satisfied with life. Lasting value is always about who you are with yourself and others, not about your clothes, degrees, money, weight, kind of car you drive, or what ever else people falsely value.
What's the song you came into this world to sing? I hope you can find the courage to shine just a little bit brighter!
Live the extraordinary life you deserve.
