Are you holding boundaries that work for you? Are people overstepping their boundaries with you? Are you overstepping other people's boundaries?
It's okay to push past where you feel comfortable when you're growing--when you will get positive results for yourself or a greater good. But some things are really clear and I'm here to tell you that when you need to say NO, gather yourself up--even if you don't think you can--and say NO where it needs to be said.
Pay attention to that inner voice that lives inside of you. If you’re saying “no” on the inside, say “no” on the outside.
Say “yes” to yourself and what you know is right for you. If you're not sure if it's right to say "no" or not, ASK someone who is trustworthy.
This is a hard one for sure. It's in the challenge of it that we grow stronger and truer. The thing is, that we'll always make mistakes along the way. That's a given. We'll make mistakes, then we pull ourselves back up anyway.
Have the courage to do what you can, when you can, and know that you'll get better with practice (and there are lots of opportunities for practice aren't there?).
Little by little, you can do this. Listen in to what your own inner voice is telling you. Ask for help when you need to.

I love all of your insight and positive thinking. Reading your thoughts helps me in tight spots. I don't know your background, but suspect you've come a long way in getting your life together. Keep on writing, if you will; it benefits all of your readers.
Thank you for your kind words Beffigon. It always means a lot to me when something I write connects for someone. I do intend to keep writing and sharing the tips, tools, and techniques that have worked for me in life... yep, I have come a long way within my own life experiences. That's why I want to share, to shorten the learning curve for others so they don't have to "learn everything the hard way." Best blessings! <3 Laya
